Kithnote is operated by Euphoric Software. This beta stores your local notebook on your device. Cloud sync is optional.

Encrypted note content

Note titles, text, folders, and Trash state are encrypted on your device before upload. We do not receive the encryption key. The server sees account information, vault and note identifiers, encrypted sizes, revision numbers, and request timing.

Accounts and service data

We store your account name, email, password hash or provider identity, passkey public keys if enabled, and session information. Google or Discord sign-in uses those services when you choose them. Cloudflare processes hosting, security, storage, and email delivery. We do not embed advertising or third-party analytics in the notebook.

Your device

Local vault encryption is optional and protects saved notes with a separate password. Clearing browser storage can remove unsynced notes and saved keys. Export encrypted backups and keep your connection kit safely.

Deletion and recovery

You can delete cloud vaults and your account from Account. Cloud access is revoked when deletion is accepted; object removal follows. Historical backups are scheduled to expire after 35 days. Deleting cloud data leaves notebooks on your devices. Account recovery cannot restore lost encryption keys or local vault passwords.
